Okay, on the front of the iPad 10.2 2021 9th Gen (Wi-Fi Only) there’s a 10.2 inches, Retina IPS LCD screen with 1620 x 2160 pixels resolution and 500 nits of brightness. As these numbers suggest, this display gets plenty bright indoors while also staying visible enough outdoors. It is decent enough for casual media consumption. But its 4:3 aspect ratio means movies or YouTube videos don’t particularly cover up the entire area.
You will have to put up with huge blackboards above and below the picture and there is no pinch to zoom videos on YouTube. On Netflix there is! Nonetheless, Apple has finally brought True Tone support on the iPad 10.2 (2021). Essentially. This enables the screen to automatically switch the color temperature based on the ambient lighting.
