Product details
First launched in 2016, the S7 Edge was one of Samsung’s most iconic flagships, celebrated for its curved edge display, water resistance, and premium design . Even today in 2025, it remains a reliable option for Kenyans seeking an affordable Samsung phone with solid performance and quality cameras . Performance That Holds Up
The Galaxy S7 Edge is powered by the Exynos 8890 Octa or Snapdragon 820 processor , paired with 4GB RAM . Storage options include 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB , all expandable via microSD. While not as fast as modern flagships, it’s still capable for everyday use such as browsing, WhatsApp, YouTube, and light gaming — making it perfect for budget-conscious buyers.
Camera That Made History The 12MP rear camera with Dual Pixel technology was groundbreaking at its release, excelling in low-light photography with its wide f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization. It remains capable of producing sharp, detailed photos even today.
On the front, the 5MP selfie camera delivers decent selfies and video calls, supported by Samsung’s software optimizations. Premium Edge Display & Design The 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED curved edge display is the defining feature of the S7 Edge.
The dual-edge design not only looks futuristic but also adds functionality, such as quick access to apps and notifications via the edge panel. The design is sleek and premium, with Gorilla Glass protection on both front and back and an aluminum frame. Available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold , it still looks stylish in 2025.
Battery & Charging Equipped with a 3600mAh battery , the S7 Edge was one of the first Samsung devices to feature both fast wired charging and wireless charging . Despite its age, the battery still provides a full day of moderate use when well maintained.
